Canare solves the electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem with speaker lines by using a 4-conductor Star Quad configuration in all of their 4S series speaker cables. Every conductor is located the same distance from the center, which results in the cancellation of the opposing magnetic fields. Attenuation of magnetic field radiation is superior when compared to a standard 2-conductor speaker wire.
